Nomads of Iran Tour

Depending on the season, these amazing excursions can be arranged in different parts of Iran, each with its unique charm. From the forests of the north to the mountainous west and the flats of central Iran, the nomads are pretty much everywhere depending on the weather and season. Nomads are mostly Turkic Qashqai and the Bakhtiari, but there are also nomadic Kurds, Lors and Baluchis.

Day 1
Arrival to Tehran and transfer to hotel; O/N Tehran.
Day 2
A full-day tour of the capital, Tehran. Starting with a walking tour through old Tehran and visiting the old Gate of Tehran, Golestan Palaces, in the afternoon we will have a tour of the magnificent national museum of Iran. Overnight Tehran.

Day 3
Early morning drive to Isfahan, en route we will visit the UNESCO registered Abiyaneh Village. Abiyaneh is one of the oldest villages in Iran and offers fantastic views. Next stop will be the historical city of Kashan and its famous gardens. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to your hotel in Isfahan. Overnight Isfahan.
Day 4
Full day city tour of Isfahan to visit Jame Mosque , Ali Gholi Agha bath and Chehel Sotun. After lunch, in the afternoon we will be visiting Imam Square (Imam mosque, Sheikh Lotfollah mosque, A’li Qapu ,Naghsh-e-Jahan square ) and a little bit of late afternoon shopping . Overnight Isfahan.

Day 5
Drive to Sepidan from Isfahan, this is one of the most famous nomad routes in Iran, frequented by many different tribes. On our way we will visit the cities of Shahr Reza, Semirom and Yasuj using beautiful roads. Depending on the season you travel, we may be able to visit these tribes en route. Overnight Sepidan.
Day 6
This is a day for experiencing Nomadic life. Getting up early in the morning with voice of shepherds taking the cattle for grazing. Enjoy a traditional nomadic breakfast and know their simple way of life. Overnight at a nomadic camp near Sepidan.
Day 7
Visit the nomads of Sepidan, spending time with the local nomads, they're the most generous people who protect their traditions as old as possible. We will enjoy the rest of the day in the nature and try some of the local organic food. Drive to Shiraz. Overnight Shiraz.

Day 8
We will start our Shiraz tour by Karmikhani complex, the residential palace of Zand dynasty. Karim Khan Zand, the founder of Zand dynasty who chose Shiraz as his capital, we will then continue to Vakil complex, Vakil Mosque, Bazar and public bath that are remaining from his reign. We also visit the colorful Nasirolmolk mosque. In the afternoon we will visit Eram Garden, Naranjestan Palace and the tombs of world famous poets Hafez and Saadi. O/N Shiraz.
Day 9
Excursion to Kohmare Shorkhi, a beautiful and mountainous area near Shiraz which is home to a different nomad tribe than what you have already visited in Sepidan, you will spend time with herders and eat under their traditional black tents before returning to Shiraz in the evening; O/N Shiraz.
Day 10
Drive to Firuz Abad, one the oldest and largest nomad communities in Iran, on this excursion day we will visit a Sassanid palace and then visit the local nomads and their trade hub in Firuz Abad. Have a traditional lunch and return to Shiraz in the evening. Overnight Shiraz.
Day 11
Excursion to the ancient city of Persepolis. Naghsh-e-Rostam, Naghsh e Rajab, the Achaemenian necropolis (city of the dead). Return to Shiraz late afternoon, check out of your hotel, transfer to Shiraz international airport for your departure flight home.
