In north east of Iran, in one of the villages of Sabzevar township that is called Estaj, you will see a fabulous sight as if God has looked at it discriminately. It will excite you to see a green area filled with trees having blossoms and a small river while birds are singing.
Seeing this place, you may at long last perceive why Iran is called the land of wonders. When you stand in the village you will see mountains that still have the clothing of snow. Gardens of fruit trees also complete what you have in your fancies as varieties of colors. The white color of snow, the green of trees, the blue of the sky and the colorful fruits all are present in the middle of the brown desert. Fragments of a ruined castle, on a hill beside the village prove the ancient history of this region. Stars of the night sky will refresh you spiritually. Moreover, with the colorful nature of this land, it is not far from imagination that people who knit rug in this area will definitely apply these colors on their work of art.
Several other attractions of this area are the winding alleys, and the traditional public bathrooms the water of which is heated by the power of sun. An especial tradition of this area is their wedding ceremonies in which the groom goes after the bride while riding a horse. The ceremony is accompanied with Iranian traditional music. The ceremony will be finished and the bride will be taken to groom's house after they throw fruits to the sky and wish for a fortunate life.
