Iran Tours for Austrians: Iranian experience for German speakers
Like the Bermuda Triangle, you will get stuck in these three touristy cities and will not be able to get rid of them even when you depart for your country. This is an open jaw itinerary that saves you more time and money while showing you the best of Iran. This is especially an affordable tour with a special offer in summer.
Thanks to Austrian Airlines and its new flight between Vienna a Shiraz, Stadt der Palaste und der Garten (as mentioned in Austrian Airline Magazine) and good bilateral political relations between Iran and Austria, and because of the increasing number of Austrian tourists in Iran, we have made special tours for people from this country.
9 Days
Day 1: Shiraz
Welcome to Shiraz the city of gardens and palaces. You are just welcomed to the Gardeshgaran team’s city. You will arrive at 4:35 AM and will be transferred to the hotel. After a short rest, you can start a some-hour tour in Shiraz. You can see Hafez and Sa’di tomb. These two poets are the most famous and popular ones in Persian countries. Their works are still taught in universities. After visiting these relaxing nice tombs that are located in beautiful gardens, you will have a delicious kebab of liver and lung. It is tasty. Dough, yogurt, and vegetables are served with this traditional food. You will have a short walk in the street and get back to your hotel. Overnight in Shiraz
Day 2: Shiraz
A full-day city tour in Shiraz. Today you will see the Karimkhan complex: Bazaar, Bathhouse, Mosque, and Citadel. After visiting the Bazaar and getting involved with local people. You will see the mosque when Muslims pray there. First, you will listen to the call to pray that is echoed in Bazaar and then you will go to the mosque with other locals who want to pray. you will eat a traditional lunch in a traditional restaurant there. In the Bathhouse, you are going to get familiar with the functions of bathhouses in the past. Overnight Shiraz.
Day 3: Shiraz-Persepolis- Abarkouh
Iran Tours for Austrians continues!
Today you will experience the most amazing day of your trip. In the morning, you will go on to Pasargadae and Persepolis which are the most famous ancient sights of Iran. No need to explain how interesting are these sights. Both sights show Iran’s great culture and history. Take as many pictures as you can because you are not supposed to see anything like them. Persepolis is welcoming you with open arms as it has been like this when many years ago people came there.
After eating a traditional lunch, the driver and guide will take you to a lovely small city called Abarkouh. This old and small city holds the oldest Cyprus in the world with 4000 years old. Some scientists also believe it is 7000 years old. After visiting this huge Cyprus, you will go to Sarve Kohan’s guest house to drink a cup of coffee and take a short rest. This guest house is located among trees and water and domestic animals like hens, roosters, ducks, etc. At night, you will stay in this great guest house to experience a traditional mattress and room. Overnight Abarkouh.
Day 4: Abarkouh-Taft-Yazd
After an organic breakfast in Abarkouh, which includes fresh eggs, bread, cheese, tea, etc After visiting these sights, you will go on your trip to Taft which is a small garden located in a desert area. The whole city is a small garden full of fruit trees. Most people are Zoroastrians. In Nartiti Ecolodge, you can eat and get familiar with Zoroastrians’ religion, culture, and ceremonies. You also eat your lunch, a special Zoroasterian food, and then drive to Abarkouh. The owner’s family is Zoroastrian and you can ask as many questions as you have about their beliefs. Then you will say goodbye to this family and leave Taft to Yazd. Overnight Yazd.
Day 5: Yazd
In the morning, you will start your tour of this unique city. You will visit the Fire Temple and Qanat and get more familiar with Zoroasteran life. Qanat used to have water in different seasons for everyone. As this city is a desert city, people needed to save water in the best way, that is why they made many Qanats. You also see the view of Amirchakhmaq Square. you will be in the old part of the city and walk to Jame Mosque. You will see locals praying and asking God to help them. After visiting the beautiful mosque, you see the Tower of Silence. You are supposed to see the desert at sunset time. The guide and driver will take you to a nice desert camp. There you will experience a desert night, start observation, camel back-riding, and safari. You will return to the city and eat and rest at the hotel. Overnight Yazd.
Day 6: Yazd-Isfahan
Early in the morning, you will be driven to Isfahan, also known as Half of the World among Iranians, you are supposed to see the second largest square in the world, Imam Square also known as Naghshe Jahan Square. You will see 2 mosques, Imam Mosque and Lotfollah Mosque, and also Aliqapou Palace. Aliqapou palace used to be the place for the king to see Polo. He used to sit there and watch the game and enjoy it.
After lunch in a nice restaurant, you will go on your tour to see Hasht Behesht and Chehel Setoun. This evening, we rest in a cozy hotel in Isfahan on our Iran Tours for Austrians.
Day 7: Isfahan
Another full-day city tour in Isfahan to see an old Christian neighbor called Jolfa. You can see people with two different religions dealing with each other. You walk through old paved streets and can see handcrafts in shopping centers and get some souvenirs for your family. There is a nice cathedral called Vank where you can see beautiful paintings on its wall dating back to different eras. All paintings tell you some stories of different famous people and their life. After you eat your lunch in this lovely neighborhood, you will go on to see Jame Mosque and Pigeon House and also Isfahan’s Aquarium. Late in the afternoon, you will experience being among locals by the 2 lovely bridges of Siosepol and Khajo. After dinner, you will be transferred to the hotel.
Day 8: Isfahan-Kashan
Our Iran Tours for Austrians continues today in the serene landscapes of Kashan.
Today you say goodbye to this amazing city and leave for Kashan. In Kashan, you see the Boroujerdi house, Fin Bathhouse, and garden. The best flower juice in the world is made in this city. Day 9: Kashan-Tehran-IKA
You will be driven to Tehran in the morning. Tehran is the capital city of Iran and like other capital cities full of museums. Depending on the day, you can see the Golestan Palace, the National Museum of Iran, and also the Jewelry Museum. At night, you will be transferred to the airport to depart from Iran. Overnight IKA (Imam Khomeini Airport).
