Takht-e Soleyman, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in West Azerbaijan, Iran, is recognized as the birthplace of Zoroaster and spans over 3000 years of human history. This significant archaeological site includes the Azargoshnasb Fire Temple, Khosrow’s Ivans, and Anahita Temple, and has served as a major religious and educational center, especially for Zoroastrianism. It has been home to various dynasties like the Medes, Achaemenids, Parthians, Sassanians, and Mongols. The site is notable for its fire temple, which symbolized the power of the Sassanian Empire. The best time to visit is in spring and early summer, with the area offering beautiful night illumination for evening strolls and photography.
