The lively cultural relations existing between our two nations are certainly one of the most important factors bringing us close to each other, influencing our moral destiny for hundreds of years, shaping our attitudes as well as the foundation and functioning of our institutions.
Literary and cultural contacts were quite lively in regions under Ottoman administration. These works helped to some extent the development of classical Turkish literature. Furthermore, some rulers wrote books using the language of neighboring countries with whom they shared an identical religious faith and similar cultural values.
A flash forward to the present time proves that these close relations still exist, Iranian tourists are the 2nd most visitors of Turkey, millions of Iranians visit Turkey every year between the months of March and October.
As two non-Arab Middle Eastern countries, our two nations have stood by each other in every world stage.
