Day 1: Shiraz
Arrival at Shiraz International Airport. Transfer and rest at the hotel. We will start the city tour of Shiraz at 10:00 a.m. You will visit Zandiyeh & Vakil complex, Vakil Mosque, Bazar and public bath. We also visit the colorful Nasirolmolk mosque. Lunch at a traditional restaurant. In the afternoon, we will visit another side of Shiraz, where you will see the tombs of great poets Hafez and Sa’adi and the Shah e Cheragh shrine. Overnight Shiraz.
Day 2: Isfahan
Check out from your hotel, and you will head to the magnificent city of Persepolis outside Shiraz, Pasargad (cemetery), and Pasargad. After visiting these ancient sites, we will drive to the beautiful city of Isfahan and check in at your hotel. In the evening will head to the banks of the Zayanderud River, the soul of the town. Several historical bridges over this river were erected during the Safavid era (17th Century). Siosepol (33-arch) and Khaju bridges are the most famous ones. We enjoy visiting these two interesting bridges, drinking tea at the tea house below the bridge, walking along the river bank or paddling on a boat from one to the other. Overnight Isfahan.
Day 3: Isfahan
In the morning, we start our entire tour of Isfahan at the UNESCO world-date of Naghsh-e-Jahan Sq., once a royal polo court, this site was the official center of the city when the city was the Safavid Capital (1st Century). We will visit the famous Imam Mosque (Royal Mosque) on the square’s southern side with incredible architecture and tile-work. The multistory Aliqapu Palace stood on the western side of the court, which rom which the Safavid kings used to court the polo games and ceremonies. Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque (or Ladies Mosque) is located on the opposite side of the square and is visited next. OverNight Isfahan.
Day 4: Departure
Enjoy leisure time in Isfahan. Transfer to the airport in the evening for your departure flight home.
