Day 1: Exploring Bisotun and Islamabad Gharb
The beginning of this route is from Bisotun. The famous Bisotun has an inscription of the Achaemenid Empire on its body. A reminder that narrates the victory of Darius the Great over Geomat Magh. The importance of this work is so great that it was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2006. In addition to the Bisotun inscription, Blash stone, Guderz petroglyph and Mehrdad Ashkani’s inscription are among the valuable works of Bisotun.
From Bisotun, go to Islamabad Gharb and Sarpol. Cities that suffered a lot of damage after the recent earthquake. But it is still possible to find works such as Sarab Sharafabad and Cheghagaveneh Hill in it. If you stay the night in Islamabad, you can visit Sarpol Zahab’s sights and beautiful nature at sunrise.
Day 2: Ancient Bridge and Historical Inscriptions
The bridge has ancient works and historical inscriptions, among which we can mention the stone inscription of Anubanini, the king of Lulobis, engraved on the heart of the mountain thousands of years ago. You can spend the second night in this city and visit Shirin Palace tomorrow morning.
Day 3: Qasr Shirin's Cultural and Natural Treasures
Qasr-e Shirin is known for its tall palm trees and agricultural products. This city, which is located near the border of Iran and Iraq, among the monuments that must be visited in the destination of this trip, you can see “Ban Qala,” Khosrow’s Palace, Shah Abbasi Caravanserai, Shah Godar Creek and Javanmir Castle.
