Tour Itinerary
We want to inform you that this tour is not bound to specific dates. It’s an introductory Iran tour designed to be flexible and adaptable to your schedule and preferences. Whether you wish to explore the wonders of Iran in the spring, summer, fall, or winter, the opportunity is always available. We aim to make your dream trip come true, allowing you to discover Iran’s diverse cultural heritage, natural beauty, and warm hospitality at your convenience. Whenever you are ready to embark on this incredible journey, we’ll be here, eager to curate an unforgettable experience that aligns perfectly with your desires.
Day 1: Mashhad to Torbat Jam
The first day of the trip starts from the city of Mashhad. In this city, in addition to pilgrimage, visit “Bagh Nader” and “Koohsangi Mountain Park” and start your excursion to Torbat Jam. Fariman is the first city on your way. In this city, the concrete buildings the Germans built in the first Pahlavi period are visible before anything else. But don’t forget to see the brick structures, including two pyramidal columns in the old Fariman Gate.
Adjust your schedule so that you reach Torbet-jam before dark.
Day 2: Exploring Torbat Jam and Khaf
The following day, many sights will await you in this city. Sheikh Ahmad Jami’s tomb complex and museum are among the city’s most influential companies. Also, don’t forget Abbas Abad Caravanserai. Then, step on the road and leave for “Khaf.”
On the way to Khavaf, before reaching Taybad, you can visit Mill Karat. Also, don’t forget to visit “Kariz” and “Taibad.” In Taibad, there is also the tomb of Maulana Abu Bakr Taibadi, one of the mystics of the 8th century.
Then go to Khaaf and spend the night there. The city of Khaf is one of the leading centers of Khorasan’s traditional music, especially the dotar playing. After resting and visiting “Khargerd Ghiyathiya School” and “Ancient Windmills of Nashtifan,” travel to Birjand the next day.
Day 3: Saffron Fields and Birjand
Now it’s time to see the red gold of Iran in its fields. Qaen is one of the centers where you can get the quality saffron of Khorasan. Go to Birjand from Qaenat, tour the city and find a suitable place to stay and relax.
Birjand is the capital of South Khorasan province. This city houses one of the UNESCO World Heritage sites in Iran, the Akbariye Garden, worth seeing on the fourth day of the trip. You can leave Birjand for Tabas in the afternoon of the same day.
Day 4: Exploring Tabas En Route
You will reach the village of “Sivjan,” a famous mosque on your way. Also, this village has high-quality milk and dairy products due to the cattle industry.
Another city you will see from Birjand to Tabas is Khosuf, one of the oldest cities in this region.
In the evening, near Tabas, don’t forget to visit and photograph the village of Esfahak. Even though Esfak suffered a lot of damage in the Tabas earthquake, its adobe houses still have a beautiful view among palm trees.
Day 5: Immersing in Tabas
Tabas is the final destination of the trip. By staying in one of the ecotourism houses of this city, you can feel the life experience of desert people. Tomorrow, you will have a chance to explore Tabas and its surroundings completely. Tabas has a fort belonging to the Ismaili period, which is recommended to be seen along with visiting “Kal Jenni Valley” and Khan’s Caravanserai.
