A visit to the city of wind catchers isn’t complete without capturing the breathtaking sunset beside the beautiful wind catcher of the rooftop Baran House Cafe. Gaze at the vast sky, sip on strong tea, and enjoy soothing music in this charmingly colorful house, experiencing moments of tranquility. This traditional cafe is located in the Baran Ecolodge, a 400-square-meter house from the Qajar era. It has been operating since 2017 with a capacity of 40 people in the historic Fahadan neighborhood, offering simple yet delicious meals in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Stepping into the courtyard, you’ll find a blue pool with redfish, water jugs, and old wooden doors and benches, evoking the enchanting ambiance of authentic Iranian homes. Here, you can invite friends and loved ones to share your joys and spend pleasant hours together. Additionally, with a short walk, you can explore nearby attractions such as Alexander’s Prison, Kooshk-e Now Water Mill, Chaharsoogh-e Shahi Bazaar, Yazd Art House, Lari House, and the Desert Handicrafts Workshop (basket weaving, traditional tile work, carpet and kilim weaving).
