Alasht

Alasht, in Mazandaran, Iran, is a historic paradise known for its dreamlike scenery, mist-covered mountains, and fruit orchards. The town beautifully blends traditional and modern lifestyles, featuring narrow, stone-paved streets and houses with mud walls and wooden roofs, alongside modern amenities. Its semi-ruined hotel, built during the Pahlavi era, now partially serves gas station and oil company employees. The region is rich in diverse vegetation and medicinal plants, suited to its mountainous climate. Alasht is also a protected wildlife area, home to a variety of birds and mammals, including eagles, deer, leopards, and wolves.
