Rayen

An adobe castle 1,000 years old which is situated 110km from Kerman city. The medieval mud brick city of Rayen is similar to the Arg-é Bam city and has the second rank of mud brick–made building in the world after Arg-e-Bam.

The region enjoys a desirable climate on the foothills of Hezar Mountain. This mountain is the highest peak in the province and the third highest in Iran, rising to an altitude of 4,450m. Hezar Mountain is covered by snow most of the year and is famous for its breathtaking waterfall.
