Gilan Rural Heritage Museum

The Gilan Rural Heritage Museum, covering an area of approximately 263 hectares, is one of the most attractive tourist sites in Gilan. This museum offers a small but authentic representation of the traditional lifestyle and culture of Gilan’s villages. The architectural section of the museum comprises a collection of structures with an average age of 150 years. These structures form 28 complexes and include residential and auxiliary buildings from various regions of the province. The buildings were identified, documented, disassembled, and then reassembled in the museum from different locations in Gilan.
