Day 1: Bojnord - Golestan National Park
The beginning of the journey is from Bojnurd near Golestan National Park. Baba Aman Park, Besh Ghardash Park, Mofakham Mansion, and Aspakhu Fire Temple are among the sights of this city that promise a trip full of surprises. From Bojnurd to the next destination, Qochan, cities like Chenaran, Shirvan and Faruj are on your way.
Spend the night in Quchan.
Day 2: Quchan - Tax Collectors
At the beginning of the day, see this city’s anthropological museum. Also, Robat Sahlabad and Hamam Shazdeh are among the sights of this city. Then, go to the Bajgiran. A town at the border zero point and the border with Turkmenistan, which is very close to the capital of this country, Ashgabat.
Tax collectors are known for their border market—a bazaar filled with Turkmen fabrics and handicrafts. Throughout history, this city has been a place for caravans and travelers. The old customs warehouses of Bajgiran in Dolatkhane village are among the heritage of travel in this border city. We suggest you stay the night in one of the rural houses of “Shamkhal” to visit the beautiful Shamkhal Valley.
Day 3: Dargaz - Kalat Naderi
On the third day of the trip, leave for Dargaz and Kalat Naderi. Darges is your host with Tandoureh Protected Area and the “Chehel Mir” promenade at the entrance of this park. If you are interested in history and ancient sites, the site of Dargaz Bandian Archaeological Site will surprise you.
Next, move to the Naderi Kelat. This is where you enter the territory of a thousand mosques—a city whose name is associated with Nader, the Afsharian king. In addition to the Khurshid mansion and Nader dam, the “Qare su waterfall” l is one of the sights of this city. It is better to spend the night in Kalat and, the following day, move towards Neyshabur.
Day 4: Mashhad
On the fourth day of your journey, start early in the morning and head to Mashhad. Begin by visiting the revered shrine of Imam Reza (AS), one of the holiest places in Iran. Take your time exploring the various attractions around the shrine, which include museums and historical sites. For lunch, savor a delicious Mashhadi meal to experience the local cuisine. In the afternoon, you can shop or visit Koohsangi Mountain Park. As the day ends, find accommodation at one of Mashhad’s hotels to rest for the night.
Day 5: Neyshabur - Sabzevar
After seeing the shrine of Imam Reza, you can go to the city of turquoise stones. Not only turquoise! Moreover, the tombs of Attar, Khayyam and Kamal al-Molk can also be seen in this city. The wooden village of Neyshabur and the ancient area of Shadiakh are among the other sights of Neyshabur. The final destination, Sabzevar, is about an hour from Neyshabur. You can stay in Neyshabur for the night or go to Sabzevar.
