Our tour in Sanandaj includes visits to historically significant mansions such as Khosroabad Mansion, Moshir Diwaan Mansion, and the elegant Malek Al Tojjar Mansion, among others. These sites, along with Sanandaj’s mosques, bazaars, and baths, offer a glimpse into the rich cultural tapestry of the city. As the day ends, we plan to arrive in Marivan, preparing for the next day’s exploration after a restful night.

Day 2: Zarivar Lake Serenity

In Marivan, known for its bustling border bazaars, we’ll discover the city’s natural and historical wonders, including the enchanting Zarivar Lake. Our journey then leads us towards Baneh, situated just twenty kilometers from the Iraqi border, marking our next point of interest.

Day 3: Baneh to Piranshahr

Our exploration continues in Baneh, a city where Sorani Kurdish is spoken and nature is vibrantly green, especially in spring. The evening finds us in Piranshahr, within West Azerbaijan province, a city of Kurdish heritage with a rich tradition of arts and crafts, including carpet weaving and leather embroidery. Spending the night in Piranshahr positions us perfectly for the next leg of our journey.
